About Me
Greetings, fellow nature enthusiasts! I am a dedicated wildlife filmmaker, and my journey through the natural world has been a lifelong pursuit. It all began with my deep-rooted passion for the great outdoors, a passion that has guided me to become who I am today.
I recently completed my Master's degree in Wildlife Documentary Production at the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. This academic endeavor has equipped me with the technical skills and creative vision necessary to capture the beauty and wonder of wildlife through the lens of a camera.
However, my love for nature was instilled in me from a very young age. It led me to pursue my undergraduate studies at a fine art college affiliated with the University of Mysore, where I specialized in Photography and Photojournalism. During this transformative period, I embarked on numerous projects in the realms of Wildlife Photography, Photojournalism, and Conservation. In recognition of my dedication and excellence in this field, I was honored with an award for Excellence from the University upon completing my graduation in 2017.
During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to create a short film that delved into the complex issue of 'Man-Elephant Conflict' in Karnataka, shedding light on the critical challenges faced by both humans and wildlife. This experience deepened my commitment to using visual storytelling to raise awareness about conservation issues.
Following my graduation, I ventured into the heart of India's wild landscapes, where I spent three enriching years as a Senior Naturalist at 'The Ultimate Travelling Camp' in Dudhwa National Park, located in the Terai region of Uttar Pradesh. Subsequently, I took on the role of Head Naturalist at 'The Oberoi Vanyavilas' in Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. These experiences not only allowed me to further hone my knowledge of wildlife but also provided me with valuable insights into the delicate balance between nature and human activities.
Having explored the rich biodiversity of India's northern regions, I felt a deep calling to return to my roots and share my knowledge of the southern Indian jungles that I grew up in. My passion for spending time in the wild has only grown stronger over the years, as I've gained extensive experience both in the field and within the creative studios. My ultimate goal remains unwavering: to uncover and capture the hidden facets of our planet through the art of filmmaking.
Join me on this thrilling journey as we venture into the wild, discovering the untold stories of our natural world and the urgent need to preserve its wonders. Together, through the power of visual storytelling, we can make a lasting impact on wildlife conservation and environmental awareness.
